These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Masters of Trivia Telegram Mini App ("Mini App"), operated by the Masters of Trivia team ("we", "us", "our"). By opening the Mini App in Telegram you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Mini App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and have a valid Telegram account to use the Mini App. Use is void where prohibited by law. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Mini App complies with all laws applicable to you.
2. Telegram platform rules
The Mini App runs on top of Telegram. Your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's own Terms of Service, Bot Developer Terms and Blockchain Guidelines. Nothing in these Terms supersedes those rules.
3. The Mini App
The Mini App provides trivia tournaments, quizzes, leaderboards, optional reward tasks, and an optional TON wallet connection. We may add, modify or remove features at any time. Tournaments may have entry costs paid in Telegram Stars; rules and prize structures are displayed before entry.
4. Telegram Stars and digital goods
All digital goods and consumable items inside the Mini App (entry fees, boosts, cosmetics) are purchased exclusively with Telegram Stars. We do not accept Stripe, credit cards, external cryptocurrency or off-platform payments inside the Mini App.
Stars purchases are processed by Telegram. Refunds, chargebacks and dispute handling follow Telegram's policies. We may credit, refund or revoke in-app rewards at our discretion, including for fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
5. TON Connect (optional)
You may optionally link a TON-compatible wallet via TON Connect. Wallet linking does not transfer custody of your funds — your private keys remain in your wallet at all times. We will never request your seed phrase or private keys. We do not provide wallet, custody, exchange or brokerage services.
The Mini App does not support, advertise, distribute, or link to non-TON cryptocurrencies, exchanges, DEXes, wallets or token pages. Any token claim, swap or off-chain conversion happens outside the Mini App on the web platform after explicit compliance review.
6. Tournaments and gameplay
- By entering a tournament you accept its specific rules (entry fee, time window, scoring, prize distribution, disqualification grounds).
- You must answer questions yourself. Use of bots, automation, multiple accounts, collusion, or any technical exploit is forbidden and may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and account termination.
- We may invalidate scores or refund entries if a tournament is disrupted for technical reasons beyond your control.
7. Rewards and stars balance
Your in-app Stars balance, rank, streaks, and rewards are tracked server-side. They are subject to verification and may be adjusted to correct errors, prevent fraud, or comply with platform rules.
8. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Cheat, manipulate scores, or interfere with tournament integrity;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond posted rate limits;
- Impersonate another user, transfer your account, or use stolen Telegram accounts;
- Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or that infringes another party's rights;
- Use the Mini App to promote, advertise or solicit non-TON crypto activities, off-platform payments, or affiliate offers we have not approved.
9. Intellectual property
The Mini App, including all questions, design, code, branding and content, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Mini App for personal, non-commercial entertainment. All other rights are reserved.
10. Disclaimers
The Mini App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Mini App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that prizes will always be paid on a specific schedule. Trivia is for entertainment; nothing in the Mini App is investment, financial, legal or tax advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or wallet contents arising from your use of the Mini App. Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the value of Telegram Stars you spent in the Mini App in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law or platform policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via the bot. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law grants you a non-waivable right to your home forum.
